Before seeing a physiotherapist, Diana writes …..
Does anyone suffer from back, hip and leg pain? I’ve gone to my GP again today to no avail. Given more painkillers. Hello, I told her what was happening and she said with my condition there is nothing more she could do.
Ok I’ll look for a GP with more knowledege on HSP and pain relief. I don’t want to be on painkillers for the rest of my life, thank you.
I’m starting Physio next week so ill see that pans out. I know in myself there is not that much Drs can do with this condition, so I just have to do what is best for me and my body.

a few weeks later …..
I have a physiotherapist coming once a week to my home to teach and monitor my program. You know what – it has done the world of good for me. She is very caring, positive and moreso, a person who will listen to me and doesn’t want to see me in a chair or with a stick, as long as I use my body for as long as I can.
Also I find focusing helps me a lot even though the pain is there, but somehow the more I do focus I don’t feel the pain (if that makes sense). I will fight this till the end for as long as it takes.
That is just me, as I tell it and how I feel. Yes I take each day as it comes as most of us do. Gee what more can I say? Just do what your body tells you to do.
Take care to you all.
