I am 39 years old with HSP. I do not know a lot about it. I live in Melbourne in the northern suburbs and I am married with 4 kids. I first noticed I was having problems in my early 30s with walking and mobility. I am now using a stick for balance and doIng light gym work to stay on track. I feel it is helping me and also I started walking in the local heated swimming pool which also helps.
My mum also suffers from HSP and in a bad way (lots of falls, speech, bladder problems) but life still goes on. I have learnt one thing – just to work around it, there are a lot more people worse off than me.
