7-year-old Qatrina needs a walker and sometimes a wheelchair to move about. She was diagnosed with HSP in April last year.

 

Her story first came to light when a video of her struggles with HSP was shared on Facebook. The video has more than 500,000 views and has been shared more than 11,000 times.

Recently, Qatrina’s father came across a story about two brothers in Singapore with HSP. Qatrina’s mother reached out to the brothers on their Facebook page. Qatrina’s mother said “the brothers responded immediately and a few days later they came to our home to meet Qatrina”.

 

Kenneth and Eugene were diagnosed with HSP in 2014. Kenneth said “aside from my younger brother, Qatrina is the only other person in Singapore with HSP that we know”. Qatrina’s mother says that meeting the brothers was a godsend “I’m really thankful … they’ve been so helpful”. Read more…
