RHONDA Scott spent her life looking after others, until she was diagnosed with a rare degenerative condition.
The former carer has had to learn how to care for herself after finding out she had hereditary spastic paraplegia, a neurological disorder that gradually stiffens and weakens the muscles.
“There are six siblings in my family and three of us have it,” Ms Scott said.
