Lunch in Midland Junction
A group of HSPers from WA got together socially for just the second time ever in early October.
The Hogs Breath Cafe in Midland Junction was the lively venue for the 12 attendees over lunch, organised by the Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia Australian Support Group.
As you would expect, there was plenty in common to chat about and share experiences. Feedback to the organisers was very positive. One of the HSPer’s said it was great to meet other locals with HSP, establish connections and look forward to seeing the group next time.
There is every indication that these get-togethers will continue in WA. One of the organisers thanked everyone for coming and reflected that it really gives us all a sense of belonging and understanding in dealing with this rare disease.
Hello, these get togethers sound wonderful. My husband David has HSP. David and I would be interested in meeting other people with this condition in WA. Would you please let us know when the next WA meeting will be? Thank you. Iveta
Hi guys,I am Peter 60 years old, diagnosed with HSP SPG 7. I am interested to meet other members of the community with HSP and share, if appropriate, our experiences in general.
