The passing of a dear friend to all
It is with much sadness that we report the recent passing of Con Xiros, HSPRF Vice-President and beloved member of the HSP community.
Con and his brother Tim have been members of the Foundation Committee since inception in 2005, being regular faces at meetings and workshops, and known for their good nature and affability. Con has also been Vice-President for the past few years. You could not help but like Con, everyone was easily drawn to his smile and his gentle manner. It is a sad time for all who knew him and we miss him greatly.
Tim said “We all share fond memories of Con, his sacred soul, his charisma, his laugh, storytelling, love of life and all the qualities that made Con the person we loved so dearly. These memories will stay with us forever. The family decided that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Con’s beloved charity, the HSP Research Foundation. As a committee member, he enjoyed participating in seminars and increasing awareness of HSP. He took up this responsibility with zeal and dedication”.
Con’s passing represents a great loss to the Foundation and the HSP community. Our thoughts, prayers and heartfelt condolences go out to his father and mother Elias and Dimitra, brother Tim, sister Sandra and her husband Michael, nephew Anthony and niece Iliana, and to his many other relatives, friends and colleagues.
